In the first picture I'm three years old. As far as I remember, I'm sitting in the armchair in my neighbors apartment. I don't know why I'm holding a teddy bear, but I'm sure, there was a purpose. In the picture below, I'm sitting with my neighbor who was like a grandad to me. Sadly, he died a few months ago. I will always remember him, that's for sure.

The Time Travel
Being able to go back in time, I think of a particular event in the history of our country, and of a particular person. Having such a possibility I would have killed Adolf Hitler right after his birth.
I think that there are a lot of people, not only from Poland, who wanted to see him dead at that time. Personally, when it comes to going back in time and killing Hitler, I was inspired by one of the episodes of Misfits, in which one of the main characters, who had some kind of supernatural powers, decided to go back in time in order to kill Adolf Hitler. At first, she wasn't successful. However, eventually, she managed to change the course of events.
As I liked this idea, I suppose I would be able to do the same. Knowing about Hitler's future plans I could kill him regardless of his age. Certainly, there are lots of other people who should be killed, but Hitler is the person I would like to start with.

There are a lot of people who inspire me in my life. When it comes to artists and celebrities I have one person who inspired me quite a long time ago and still does. Ellen DeGeneres. She is a stand-up comedian and an actress, but she is best known for being a television host in one of the most popular talk shows in the USA, The Ellen DeGeneres Show. What I love about her is that she is an amazing person, she uses her position to help people. She defends values that I try to defend in my life: she fights for tolerance, equality, she is strongly against bullying at schools, she does everything to provide the poorest with a good standard of living and proper education. I have never seen such a great person before (among artists or celebrities). She inspires me all the time and she reminds me that there are still values in our lives worth fighting for. I'm very excited because I'm about to purchase her biography, and I hope to learn even more abou her. I can't wait!
Here is the short example of how Ellen inspires other celebrities to help those who are in need. Enjoy :)

Learning foreign languages
In this post I would like to refer to the article in The Observer about learning foreign languages in British schools. In my opinion British government did a terrible thing by removing foreign languages from British schools after the age of 14. Young people need to develop foreign languages in order to be able to communicate with their friends from all over the world. Moreover, there are various opportunities waiting for the yong people who speak more than one language. In fact, the more languages one knows the better.
From my own experience I must admit that we cannot underestimate the value of a foreign language, even the one we don't like. When I had to go abroad to work, communication in English was not enough. Sometimes, when someone didn't know English (it was rare but it happened) I had to speak German (my German was very poor at that time!). I had quite a lot of problems but I was forced to use the language because of the circumstances. So yes, I think it's crucial to learn foreign languages and we should learn them all the time. Of course, the sooner the better.

True Blood is an American television series created and produced by Alan Ball. It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris, detailing the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional, small town in the state of Louisiana. The series centers on the adventures of Sookie Stackhouse (played by actress Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress.
